# Setup

* Disable any antivirus programs (ie. Windows Defender, Malwarebytes, McAfee, etc.)
* Use *Defender Control* from *Sordum* to disable Windows Defender **completely** \[<https://www.sordum.org/downloads/?st-defender-control>] (The archive password is "sordum")
* Uninstall any boot-time anti-cheats (ie. FACEIT, Riot Vanguard, ESEA)
* Within your EFT graphics settings perform the following adjustments:\
  \&#xNAN;*-* Set "Overall Visibility" to **3000**\
  \&#xNAN;*-* Set "LOD Quality" to **4**\
  **-** Set "Streets of Tarkov Lower Texture Resolution Mode" to **OFF**\
  **-** Set "Mip Streaming" to **OFF**
